Monterey 302CR Fresh Water Tank Guage

I have a 2004 Monterey 302CR. I currently have an in-tank gauge for the holding tank (and access), but would like a fresh water gauge. I have no access to the exterior side of the fresh water tank and have almost no access to the top of the tank where the inlet hose is. There is no room there to drill anything into the tank without doing some major disassembly to that part of the boat which does not look easy.

Q: Does anyone have any ideas as to how to get access to the water tank?

Does anyone have a 302CR and installed a fresh water gauge on their boat?
