Had a lull at work and a decent weather window so we moved the boat from Freeport to East Rockaway for winter storage.
We rant out Freeport Creek to Jones inlet then west to East Rockaway inlet or Debs. Back down Reynolds channel and then north into Davison's. We ran outside due to the RR bridge being stuck in the down position.
A few boards floating here and there but not alot of debris we could see. Jones inlet is the same although seems to be missing some buoys. There was plenty of water. Debs was great as they recently dredged it. Deep water but a bit choppy.
We didn't really notice a change in the water due to the sewage plant discharge.
Some sad sights of submerged boats along the way including the Hudson canal.
Now the boat is off my mind for a while.
Other than the anxiety of possibly hitting something, it was a fairly peasant ride.
Hoping for a quick recovery and a short winter.
