I have filled out online forms to name an island or a dredging pile if you will, from the U.S. Board on Geographic Names, it is very near the Cedar Islands and they may say its one of them and it be named Cedar, but what the hell! I wanted to name it Bamboo Island because of the stand of bamboo on it, there had to be a meaningful and compelling name atribute, so its bamboo! They told me it would be about 8 months, I dunno if Gilgo had something to do with it, but they did mention it. I will let you know what happens...
