Nasty on the River Today

Went out for a descumming ride around noon today and besides the heat, Haverstraw Bay had a nasty little chop going which didn't make it any fun. Cut the ride a little short but accomplished what I wanted to do.

Bet the tide brings in lots of little poopies to go with that chop. Was gonna go swimming with my nephews Saturday but....maybe go down the shore instead!!

That's exactly where we are headed for the week. Let the river flush itself out for awhile.

They said from GW to th tap was affected, I don't know if it would get all the way by stony point?

Hmm, maybe - maybe not. Too many other places to go, I for one won't chance it. I'll give the river a week to flush out after they stop dumping, which is supposed to be tonight.
