taking a trip next weekend and am considering Navesink Marina or channel club.

Anyone have any info about Navesink Marina? I like that it seems very close to the beach.
 
If being close to the beach is the main criteria, I'd chose the channel club given they have a pool, great staff and a decent restaurant on site. It's an easy walk to the beach from the Channel Club.
Alternatively one of the places in Red Bank would be a good spot. The Molly Pitcher has a good pool and Red Bank can't be beat for dining.
 
I keep my boat at Navesink marina..Nice place,floating docks/finger slips.Great tiki bar onsite with live music everyday on the weekends.Restaurant is pretty good as well..can get a bit loud though.It's right across a 2 lane rd to the beach.about 1/8 mile walk to the public beach access.no lifeguards..The beach club directly across the street and has a tiki bar that's open to the public, but you can only access it from the beach since the club is private..No pool..The center of Sea Bright has some restaurants/bars, but is a spirited walk from the marina..about 1/2-3/4 mile.
 
If that's the place that advertises the best crab cakes in town, consider the walk to town to be worth while.
