BETHEL ISLAND RD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT – Trestles will extend from the north and south banks of the waterway, east of the bridge, providing a horizontal clearance of 33 ft for navigation during construction. The channelward ends of the trestles are lighted at night with red lights. See the Enclosure Section at the end of this end of this Local Notice to Mariners. Mariners are urged to use caution while transiting the bridge. Mariners unable to transit the bridge during construction may take an alternate route around Bethel Island.
