Ok Guys, espically you guys upriver. I need everyone to stop what you are doing and have a few beers. As many as your bladders wont hold. Then I need you to pee in the river.

The Caryl-d is swinging in the slings over the pit and the water at high tide is still to low...Come on now, I know you guys can raise the level...You have till 3:15 for the next high tide....

Can't they just let the garden hose run for a bit?
 
Maybe the Power Authority can let one of our creek dams go like they often do this time of year. Of course the LAST time they did that my boat was floated off its trailer in the parking lot...
 
C'mon now Pete, be nice. That's why we pay the big bucks for deep water. (God I hope Haverstraw never gets shoaled up or we'll never hear the end of it)!

John the problem is not that there is not enough water deep enough, There is plenty for that. The problem is the boat is so big that the pit is not wide enough. I need the high tide to keep the rub rail from rubbing in the pit. It was close but not enough beer was drank.

Now if Haverstraw and the other marinas would get busy and put some boats in, perhaps that will help...
 
Well I just found out that mine was delivered to my slip today. Unfortunately, it does not have enough displacement to make any difference to help you out. Seriously...will you have to wait for the next full moon or something before you can get in Butch?
 
No, should be next week..Storms earlier in week with northern winds and tide chart shows small tide shift, things looking better for next week...I HOPE....
 
Oh boy..... see the problem is that my boat is not in yet either. And there is no way I am gonna drink that much if I have to drive back home! Call up Black Water Regulating District and tell them to let some water out of the Sacandaga. In three days you will have enough!
 
Just got in and well, call be Sea Biscuit. Just finished a happy hour backed up by "21". Great movie.
