I need a stainless pull pin. New boat lost one in transit.
I stopped at WM and a pair is $21.
Anyone with a totaled boat have one?
Thanks.

That sounds really expensive did you go into freeport marine. My bimini from my totalled t is still around I'll see if there is any on there.

Thanks. Appreciate it
Now I look online and see them for less though with shipping it is same.
Don't feel like driving to Freeport.

Do you have a pix? If it's what I'm thinking of, a REAL hardware store has them. I don't know if they are 316 SS or not. I use them to secure the pool ladder to the deck & the chlorine doesn't bother them.

Dave shoot me an email we can pluder what you need. Boat is still at the anchorage.

They are sitting on my boat if you want them. Just bring a philips head and you can take it.

Worst Marine will price match any price from a legit supplier. Just show them the price and yer done. I have done it many times.

$21 bucks, thats probably the cheapest item you are going to buy for the boat all season.

Maybe stop in at AMC, if you've used them in the past, they might help you out..

WW has changed their price matching policy now they only price match a Brick and Mortar store within 50 miles. They must have lost a bundle with the old policy!

They will lose even more with this new policy. Why buy anything from them unless you absolutely need it that second and can't find it anywhere else? Their "normal" prices are way too high.

If someone else can sell it cheaper, why can't WM?

The simple answer is it cost money to have a roof over your head and many of the online suppliers such as Boatfix don't have a retail store nor do they carry any inventory and they still have a hard time competing. How can WM cover the overhead and compete with an online store with little to no overhead? Why should they even try? I don't disagree if you have the time buy on line if you want to walk in to a store touch and hold something before buying it then WM is a good option.

Marine Mate in Lindenhurst. I bought 4 there a couple of years ago because WM is too expensive.

I guess for me it was not the cost but more of the fact that it's something I could of easily pulled off old boat. Who knew!

Al,
I will see if I see what i need on your boat. Thanks alot!

Dave,

I have exactly what you're looking for based upon the picture you posted.

Pin is 1 7/16" attached to stainless ring which is attached to a cable which is attached to the bracket.

If you still need it shoot me an e-mail to Hszak "at" aol.com.

Dave my boat is along F dock Chap 276 no name. I have those pins on there just bring a good philips head screw driver with you. Be careful on the swim platform its slippery.

Mike,
Dave is correct. If WM goes down like Boaters World did, that IMHO, would really stink. I too order most of my stuff online, and yes it is much cheaper than WM. But what is going to really stink is if all the Brick and Mortar places cease to exist, its gonna be a problem when you need something ASAP. Like a water pump, seal, fuse, hose, screw, etc.

Just saying
