i've never seen the water so clear as it was this morning in the northern part of the bay!
when raising anchor this morning off Rusty Pelican, i could see the anchor on the bottom (7'). Then thruout the whole dinner key marina channel, the bottom was clearly visible, we spotted 2 stingrays and 4 dolphins, clearly visible even underwater.
first time i see water that clear in this area and i wonder why it was. did the slight southerly breeze pushed clear water up the bay, did the very light wind mean no silt was being stirred up?
only spoiler was a moronic sea ray driver (40ish) who had to pass at high speed 50' away while we were having breakfast... the jerk had 1000' of clear water but he had to buzz us!
