This is kind of cool. I filed a discrepancy report on chart 18662 regarding Liberty Island flooding in November of 2007. That got the ball rolling and now 18662 has a new edition and the changes are there. Lots of green now shows on Liberty and West Prospect Islands. Here's additional info:

Does anyone know if USCG Auxiliary District 11 or USPS power squadron members were involved in verifying these chart changes locally? I know that the District 11 folks made a number of CU reports during 2008.
