Hi, I have been lurking here pre-purchase to find out all I could. I want to thank everyone for their immense wisdom and experience. I have just agreed to purchase a 1986 Carver 3227 Convertible. It has low hours (534) and is in great condition. The survey came back very positive for a boat of this age as it was apparently well taken care of. Since it is late in the boating season here in Ohio, we are going to do the Sea Trial in the spring......I cannot wait. My family and I will be boating out of Marblehead, OH on Lake Erie.

Thanks. We are looking forward to next season already.

The boat has upper and lower helms, built in air/heat, a 6.5KW Onan gas generator, and many more options.
 
Looking forward to springtime will help get your through a long cold winter. Congrats!!!!! Carver makes a great boat-I'm on my 3rd.
 
I bought an '89 3257 last year and we love ours as well. Carver makes a great boat! I hope you enjoy it as much as we have!
