I just wanted to check in and introduce myself - my wife and I are the proud new owners of a beautiful 1981 Mariner 3396. This forum was one of the first thigs to pop up when I googled my new boat, and I've already found a ton of great information. We're going up this weekend to take more pics and make a master shopping list of stuff we'll need this spring, then we're headed over to the Central New York boat show in Syracuse. Now if the weather will just warm up!!

welcome to the site, come back often. Lots of help and info to be had for free.

Welcome! I have an 1986 Mariner 3297 and have found tons of good info here and tried to share some as well as I learn.

Another new carver owner. We'll never be able to keep you guys all straight unless you post pics of your boats. We love pics. Congrats.

Speaking of which, I have yet to figure out how I can put my own picture on the left side under my screen name... I have tried selecting the stock pictures, putting a link to an external pic, and I can't seem to get it to work... What am I missing?

Congratulations on the new boat. We bought ours last summer and love it. This board may not be the most high-traffic or active on the 'net, but I do think it's the most valuable I've found for Carver owners. It was definitely worth $20 to me for full features, and the least I could do in appreciation for all the help I've gotten.

Welcome.

under used site, yes it is but if we use it more it'll pop up more on Google...

Congrats! I have found memories of that boat! I was introduced to boating in 1978 when my parents bought the same boat great use of space and layout.

Best of luck and enjoy.

I will post pictures as soon as the shrink wrap comes off! Unfortunately, I've got a few weeks yet until that happens. Anyone else on the board boating on the finger lakes??
