I just ordered 10' feet of Raritan's new 1 1/2" Saniflex hose and was wondering if anyone has used this new hose? After seeing it at the Annapolis boat show and how flexible it can be for routing through the tightest places, I had to try some. The standard white vac/waste hose can be a challenge if needed to run through tight quarters with any kind of bends.

Your best bet is to use as much PVC pipe as possible. No odor at all with PVC pipe.

PVC pipe would not work because of location of LectraSan and running to the vented loop, toilet, and the thru-hull would be a challenge.

I am on my second 100' roll.....and will not go back to anything else......so much easier to route, and to get on fittings..It is now available in 1" as well......easy to cut, I find that a PVC cutter does the trick best and then side cutters to cut the wire...and I agree on PVC, use as much as possible, a 10' stick of PVC is less expensive than a foot of hose

Just received my 10' length of Saniflex hose. I ripped out all the old Shields hose and the new stuff is so much easier to route through bullheads and around bends. Well worth the price as well as the five year warranty on odor.

If you use a hair dryer and let the air go through the pipe and warm it up real good it is very easy to install
