Pretty boat.

The only thing that changed structurally on your boat and on future ones was the name. Regal should have the patterns. However, if the snaps are already in place, you would be better served having them made locally as the snap patterns will differ from boat to boat. What you desire may have been an option depending on the dealer.

Thanks. I don't have any carpet or bow pad right now so no snaps... I was thinking of just going to a local upholstery shop and having them made.???

Likely far cheaper--I mean less expensive! :)

I was thinking the same thing. Probably more color options too.

Before you buy custom made carpet, you may want to consider some rubber baked throw rugs on the deck to see if you like the feeling under your feet. On my 2465 (same boat) my carpet ended up in a locker in the garage until I sold it. Used it in early spring and late fall only when it got really cold.

We hate having carpet in the cockpit of our cruiser. It just gets wet, dirty and nasty. The non skid that Regal uses is very nice stuff and easy to clean.

Eau Contrare' (have no idea how to spell it!) I love my carpet. Even though it's light beige, it stays quite clean, and when dirty, a good hosing on the dock or driveway cleans it well.

Just had a new sunpad done on my 292, replacing the old tan vinyl which had just aged horribly. If you check out the upgrades sticky in the forum you can see a picture of what's possible. We had a local fabric shop use sunbrella furniture fabric over 4 pieces of I think 1/2" closed-cell foam. Really comfy and I just love the color combination with the green fabric and white gelcoat. You may want to also check out some of those online carpet places for the cockpit; they may be cheaper than a local shop for cockpit carpet...i think snapincarpet.com; just look in the back of some boat porn...er boat magazines. :)

Hi sugilbert,

I think you mean " Au contraire" (on the contrary). 'Eau' written like that is for 'water'. But prononciation are the same : just "O".... French language is not easy, I know...[:I]

Anyway I do love too the beige carpet I have on my 2465.

Yes, that's what I meant. Well then, by me using "eau". it makes it water related. :) Funny how it all works out.
