Newport marina recommendations please

Looking for up-to-date suggestions on the best marina to stay at in Newport that is a comfortable destination unto itself for three days, pool preferred. Floating docks preferred but not essential.

Have scanned AC and others but would love to hear the experienced BoaterEd members' opinions.

With pool? Newport harbor marina... 41N may have a pool, don't remember for sure
 
Newport Harbor Hotel is great and has an indoor pool. Newport Yachting Center has pool privilages at the Newport Marriott about a 5 minute walk away. I really like Newport Marina. Brand new docks with outdoor pool and bar/restaurant right on site as well as a nice grill area. All have floating docks and all are in the heart of the city... can't go wrong.
 
We usually stay at Newport Yachting Center. It has the pool privileges but we've never used them. Newport harbor hotel is nice also. Both are in the middle of everything so there's plenty to do right there.
