NO BUFFET ??????

Can we have something delivered ???

I'm thinking that I'm going to hit the boat show on Sat and go out to bother Brad on Sunday.

It would be a definite plan if there was food but hey, what can you do.

Rob

Rob, Ah come on… she will love it.

I can hear it now… Wow daddy…

Look at that Olympic size pool
A swim team
Jr Sailing program and regattas…
Summer Carnivals and other kid’s events
Oh can I learn Tennis?
Look at all the kids my age doing arts and crafts
And they play kids Wingo with prizes…

Now you walk into the Marinas bar and wow giant TV and flowing snacks and adult beverages, the fire place aint too bad either.

The problem is her allowance may not cover the tab…

Just got back from having sushi for dinner; there's a great place on East Main Street, Patchogue. Your little food conversation got me going. Anyway, went to the boat show at the Collosium. Tried for senior citizen discount - they wouldn't do it because they had dropped the price of tickets to $5!. Cost more to park! If you're looking to buy a small or medium sized boat, the show was OK. If you're looking for boating stuff, there wasn't much there. We covered the show in under 45 minutes even stopping to examine and discuss some of the boats with the salesmen. Funny thing was, there's a Spice Girls concert there tonight. You could hear them rehearsing through the walls. Not many people there for the boat show though. Oh well, spent some quality time with the Admiral, who really liked a 25' Searay. When I win the lottery maybe. Safe boating all. Spring will come. Hy

I'm figuring to go over there on Saturday afternoon.

I'm heading over there this afternoon. If anyone else is, let me know.

I have to hang here to wait for my new credit card to be delivered and will head over after that. Some MF SOB stole the numbers and went on a shopping spree.

Ok. So I went to the Nassau show on Sat. A small show with mostly small to medium sized boats with the Silveton 33 being the biggest there. Since I think the next eventual boat for us will be smaller, I went on quite a few.

Several things struck me.

First, new boat prices are insane. A 17' Boaton Whaler for 27k?

Second, if you are going to display a 32 SeaRay for 200k, wouldn't you think it would make sense that little things like the head door closing properly should be taken care of?

Crazy industry.

That will be fixed on the day of delivery..............or within the first year of ownership :) :)
