Nice Weekend On The Boat........

I arrived Friday afternoon and did the usual washing and drying so she looked good again. I changed out the eisenglass curtains for the screens. That helped since it is quite warm/hot on Friday.

Saturday a friend and I cruised over to Outrigger for lunch. Though the wind was still up, the current and wind were both going together, so the chop wasn't significant. The lunch at Outrigger's was good as was the service! Sacramento Yacht Club had several very large boats there for the weekend and the SF Offshore Boat Club whizzed in for some lunch on their way to ...... ???

All in all it was a pleasant time. I was impressed with the food and service in spite of having several large groups to handle at once. We returned back to my slip by 3:30 'cause my friend needed to get errands done in preparation of Father's Day obligations.

Sunday I met with some friends of Bill W then headed back up the hill. A very nice weekend!
 
I'm envious. I've been "enjoying" the roof job, fence rebuild, sidewalk pouring and garden reworking around the house. )-;
 
Craig, my condolences! Hope you can get back on the water soon.

Glad to hear you are back out. I got to spend most of the week with my 12 year old son and we had a great time. Reallly hot a couple of days, but we got the little Seadoo jet boat going and did some tubing! It's the first time in a lot of years I have been towed, and I have the sore muscles as proof - ouch! I saw the go-fast's heading from Tower Park toward the Loop - a lot of them - and they got a bit too close for comfort. I have never been in a 14 foot inflatable and had a 45 footer go by at 70+ - kinda scary!

Keep it ip, and if you get toward Oxbow, I still owe you an Iced Tea. By the way, I sold my 27 Bayliner that I had at Tower Park last week so now I have one less worry.

Congrates on selling the Bayliner! That was pretty fast......what was your secret? Lots of boats out there and few takers......

I don't get up Georgiana Slu very often, but I'm sure we will run into each other sometime.....
