Ok my electric flush (push button activates the small motor/pump at bottom on toilet) is not getting water at all! At first it was just slow to get water and if I moved the incoming hose around it would then work fine. The pump/motor is working. Should there be water in the incoming hose (seacock is open)? Because there isn't. Any help would be great

Does it use fresh water or sea water?
If its fresh water, make sure you have water in tank.
Run a faucet to make sure pump is working.
If sea water, then check the seacock.
May have to pull hose off seacock to see that inlet is not clogged.

All of the above... You could have a kinked/blocked hose, a cracked hose, a loose connection, marine growth in the sea inlet, or, or, or...

From the description of the problem, my first guess would be a kinked inlet hose, or a loose connection allowing the pump to suck air.

What make and model toilet? Is it above or below the waterline?

Different toilets have different problems.

Read Vic,s sticky in this section on spring commissioning. It could be that.

Ok it's a Jabsco, with sea water. I took the whole thing apart and it appears to be fine. I can't get the inlet hose off the the seacock and I don't want to do more damage then needed! Ha ha! At the toilet end there is NO water in the hose with seacock open. Thanks for the help so far!

Close seacock
Take hose off seacock.
Open Seacock.
See if water comes up.
If not.
Then with valve open, stick a screw driver down there.
Be ready to close valve when water flows.
It won't gush.

If the raw water impeller hasn't been changed as of yet, get a rebuid kit for the head, and change the impeller and motor shaft seals. The impeller is likely worn out, but the pump could also be sucking air through either of the motor shaft seals, see items 19, 27, 29, 30 on exploded parts view, top of page 3:

Note: those heads are not the most durable, and they need to be rebuilt about every 2 or 3 years, to stay ahead of any problems.

Thanks everyone for you help! I replaced the
the impellar (which was destroyed) just as Vic said and I think it works better than ever!
