just north of short beach island a bad shoal has developed. Forever you never had to run to the first RED buoy when heading west towards jones inlet. NOW U MUST . All weekend long boats were getting pulled off the bar. AS short beach island shrinks the sand bar grows. Please beware and no short cuts.
