OK - I am outta here. Off to the boat. Enjoy the nice hot weekend all. Maybe I'll move boat out of the marina as well. If the water is warm enough possibly a swim can be in order.

Mid 90's and sunny all weekend - let's get out there and enjoy!!

KNOCK IT OFF !!!!!!!!!!!
I gotta go tomorrow and watch the Admiral clean-up the mess from the Canvas Shop and then watch her BBQ some Chicken and Ribs and I gotta work on a non-working Gas Gauge. Probably won't get out of the Marina tomorrow.

Bummer. We're here on the boat with the new wifi rig, and well, it ain't bad. :D

Some of you boaters need a new perspective, sounds some times like even though you have a life filled with bowls of cherries you are complaining about the pits!

Dan, you've got your own wifi hookup? Supposedly we have wifi at White's, but since I have an express I am not "high" enough to get the signal. Doesn't make sense to me but the guys with sedan bridges can use their laptops on the bridge, I get zip. Is there a reasonable explanation?

BTW, is there a poker run next Saturday? Maybe I can get permission to burn some gas! What a different season [:-irked]

Geo from my experience the more you are line of sight to the access point antenna the better the signal. By the way all I do is rebroadcast the marina access point. We're still (literally) all over the floor inside so any trips are on hold right now.

George, yes, the poker run is next Saturday (June 14th).

wow, what a gorgeous, hot weekend!!

Rafted at Croton and had a great time.

Yes indeed. We met a mess of great folks that stopped off here for a day or two, and learned quite a bit.

Red Peters rules!

Did anyone actually make it into the water? Cold? I can't afford any more "shrinkage"!

Spent many hours in the water. Invigorating but you quickly get used to it.

Yes, it was good spending an evening with old Red Peters and Alan Pinchloaf, it has been too long...

The water was the only place to cool off, like rommer said, invigorating and then nice.

I actually water skied on Saturday, I almost forgot how much fun it is to slalom! I'm pretty sore as a result.

So Mike, tell me where it was you rafted up this weekend?

Went by the mud bowl and you were no where to be found!

Did you find a new place to go? ;)

Yep, Croton!!!

Don't know why everyone gives it such a bad rep, it really was great. Not too rough, excellent anchor holding and we could stand right behind our boat at low tide!

You should give it a try sometime.

Was a good weekend. Went to Croton on Saturday for about 2 hours. Then went out on a friends boat to Croton again on Sunday. If I had the dink I would have stopped by since you guys were tucked in nice to the beach.

Very nice weekend indeed.....

Coxsackie YC had their open house on Saturday (Was a good time but HOT)

Went down to Yanni's Three in Athens yesterday for lunch. Got caught in a torrential downpour. At least we were tied up to the dock and enjoyed watching the storm and show from the tiki bar. (How many 15-20' bowriders and small open boats can you tie up on 100' of remaining open dock. I counted at least 20)

Raft up at "The Hook" next weekend?

KD, Where is " The Hook " your refering to ? didn't make it out over the weekend , was a little to toasty for me,planning on fri.,sat.,sun this comming, not sure if were heading north or south yet.
