Official countdown to boating season link

that's like watching grass grow...but feel free to bump it up around mid-March!

BTW, your swim platform looks good, nice work...but we can't see all the pics without a password!

....or maybe Pat wasn't trying to be quite so "in yo face!" he did give us an option to click or not click....but then John has never seemed to hold back when he posts

However lets not miss the journey for want of the destination....HAPPY HOLIDAYS everyone[;-xmas]

George, perhaps you didn't read his other post on this issue where he said, "I can't figure out how to make them appear here, so click on this link to view. . ."

Forgive me for trying to be helpful and sorry you feel it's so in your face. Geeze what happened to this place?

Woah John, I was making light of the fact you did the post...no, I didn't see the other note where he said he couldn't figure out how to make it appear here....your technical skills are obviously way beyond mine and I applaud you for being helpful (I always try to give thanks when/where it is due).

Maybe its the pressure of the holiday season, but I think we are all cool here, I certainly didn't mean any offense - but then you don't "know" me so you take what is written at face value (no pun intended). To speak one's mind is not a bad thing, and given past postings you seem to write what is on your mind. At any rate, enjoy the weekend and all it has in store for you.

George...always the consummate gentleman...a trait I wish I could acquire.

No offense taken. I'm not too good when it comes to HTML. Rommer - what was the code you used to get that to appear? I was on the help site, but couldn't figure out how to do it

Ahh!! come on John, I agree with you that George is a gentlemen, but I think you under-estimating yourself.

I'll go by rommer's clock, April 1 is our start.

The boat is officially asleep, put the cover on it this morning, just in time to protect it from tomorrow's snowfall.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukah to everyone!

Wake-N-Waves got her winter coat put on today as well. I guess we couldn't have picked a windier day Mike!

Pat, I'll get back to you on that. Need to let my fingers thaw out a bit.

That cover was like a parachute, not easy to manhandle around, the wind was whipping!!

Pat

I set up the clock I wanted then I clicked to generate the Iframe code.
Copy and paste it exactly and it worked.

I hear ya on the parachute Mike, I accidentally rolled out the cover upside
down and had to flip it over as the wind was trying to send it over to
Bowline. Getting the lines under the boat while it is in the water isn't
too hard except everytime you set the pull line down it would start to
freeze up. Last year I did the cover 12/15 and the temps were still in the
upper 40's/low 50's. I think this winter may be tough... :(

Spending the night on the boat so I can winterize the water system and A/C
and she's done for the winter. Still have beer in the fridge, come on down!

Butch, they covered you and Jim yesterday.

rommer, now you tell me about the beer!

Good, was afraid they were not going to get to it on time....
rommer, your an hour off on the count down..not that I'm counting or any thing....

I noticed that too Butch, seems like a daylight savings thing perhaps, not really sure.
The way I look at it, boating season will get here one hour sooner!

I will go with that...Anything to get the boat in the water sooner.

Well here are a few pictures of Wake-N-Waves wearing her winter coat. Got it on in the nick of time as we were caught off guard with a bit of snow over night.

Finished up on the big boat this weekend too. Shrink wrap coming soon.

Hope to get atleast one more day black/striper fishing before I put jr. to bed.

Depressing.
