Well, the wife and i went out for the night on the new boat for the first time by ourselves thanks to our babysitter! I LOVE THIS BOAT!!! Below are a few pictures for you poor folks living in the northland:
First we have to drop anchor in a quiet spot:
Then I begin to eye my new acquisition, none other than the Magma Grill:
Time for some cabobs!!
And don't forget the ribeye and tuna steaks!
Oh yes...and the sunset adds a nice touch...
And the fruits of our labor:
To say we had a good time would be an understatement!!! This boat has added an entire new dimension to my boating experience. I couldn't help but notice as the sun was setting all the deckboats and run abouts that had been anchored within sight slowly began to leave one by one before darkness set it, while meantime we were just getting dinner ready to eat. Once the sun set and we were eating, it was SO peaceful to listen to the spring bugs and frogs calling out into the night as the boat slowly and peacefully rocked back and forth to the occassional gentle wave. Stuff like tonight is what it was all about! I am so looking forward to spending the summer on this boat and really enjoying relaxing on her.
Only thing is i had some minor power/electrical/generator issues but that is a separate post that i shall make in a bit....
So far buying this boat has been one of the funnest and enjoyable things. We feel blessed to have the opportunity to have such a boat as this and the time and ability to make it all happen. Is it normal for us to already be thinking of our next (bigger) boat?
Thanks to boatered and the great advice i have received to help make all of this happen!!!
