Is there an anticipated life for trans oil coolers that are exposed to salt water on the cooling side? I don't know what they are made of, be it bronze, stainless or whatever. The exhausr side is made of metal that is very prone to rust and needs attention every few years, but the same salt water flows through the oil coolers. Are they as weak, or perhaps made of better material?
