I keep my boat in a slip year round. I use it about every 3 weeks. While away I keep the battery charger on because I fear non functioning bilge pumps due to dead batteries. The problem is that my current (no pun intended)battery charger will "cook" the batteries overtime.
Is there an onboard battery charger I can install that will prevent the overcharging I describe?
