God knows, we've been there a hundred times in all these years. We skipped BI for a while but went back last year. It was still OK. Cliff at Payne's welcomed us like we had never left. We biked and checked out things. Now we're going again, on August 14. We've both had a tough year with family members and good friends passing on.
Maybe a swim at State Beach will help. Perhaps some lobster The at Ballards. Maybe just watching the boats come and go will recharge our batteries. It has in the past.
If you're around that week, stop and say hello. We'll be on a 32-ft, 1967 Chris Craft with a green hull. The Admiral always has flowers in the cockpit. You can't miss us.
