last august, we were boating and we heard a clanking echoing form the water...it turnes out it was us! we pulled the boat in time and realized that the lower drive oil was very low. (the fill screw is at the top of the outdrive. (inboard/outboard)). we filled it and took the boat out again...we still heard the clanking and then the boat stopped. there was oil in the motor so that didnt seeze but the motor wont turn over...Could we have damaged the outdrive gears and if so what do we do? How do we pull the outdrive to look and change what is broken? need help soon...Dont want to miss out on boating this year!!!
