I purchased my boat recently and the out drive is in the up position for hauling. I got it to the storage place and went to lower the unit and it will not go back down also i realized i dont have the clearence to lower it all the way down without hitting the ground .. is this going to hurt the unit keeping it in the upright position for the next month and a half or am i going to need to lower it ASAP?
