Please help!!! I am looking for possible causes of overheated negative battery terminal. I tried to jump start the battery 2 days ago about 4-5 times using a portable booster. The engine did not start. While removing the booster, I accidentally touched the negative terminal. It was extremely hot that it burnt my hand (a little). Any ideas why it became too hot in about 2-3 minutes?
