The name on the back of my boat is painted on. I like the way it looks, but wouldn't do it again.
Anyway, it needs a touch up in two little spots.
Does anyone know somebody who does this stuff?
Or, a good source for the paint?
It's a dark Navy blue. My wife is pretty good at the artsy stuff and could probably do it if we could match the paint.

Anywhere that sells model cars & planes will have Testor paints.

Hi John,

Plan B.

Easy off oven cleaner to remove paint.
Call Marie at LI Signs.
Get Boater Ed discount.
Now have beautiful new name and graphics if you want.

That thought has crossed my mind more than once. Especially yesterday when I was delicately waxing around it so it wouldn't smear. I would do it in a heartbeat.
Now all I have to do is convince my wife. She likes the look of the painted name. Has very little interest in the boat in general, but decides to bust my horns on this.
The price I have to pay for my toys I guess.
If only I were a real man.............
