Who keeps there boat there?

Are the members decent? (i.e. - not too loud and not sticks in the mud)

Is the water even lower than SPBM at low tide?

Since they took over the marina next door do they have any deeper slips?

We've been there several years, and as I've posted before, the folks there are great...fellow boaters as well as the management.
Seems like the fun and games at SPBM is cyclical and this is one of those times. We experienced it and are oh so glad we wound up at Patsy's. Deep water? We know we do not have it, but neither does SPBM. Sparkling pool, lifeguards, store, snackbar, service, good company, friendly management, fun times. We always feel like we're on vacation.
Try it, you'll like it.

I keep my boat there for the winter. As stated the management is very nice and there are some nice boaters there as well. That said I like were we are now and I'm not ready to jump ship. Why don't you speak to Wayne before you make up your mind. I know I do my share of bitching but I'm very happy there and it would take a lot to make me give up my slip.

Interesting point.

I've noticed a fairly large increase of boats from SPBM spending the winter at Patsy's as well as other marinas in the area. I hear all these wonderful things about how great a place is yet I see people starting to say otherwise with their dollars.

The word hypocritical comes to mind...

And before people jump all over me for being hypocritical, I made the decision a number of years ago to winter in the water before SPBM offered such service. Last year when it was time to pull for the winter to do the bottom etc. we wintered at SPB. Of course I'm still waiting for them to fix the hole they made in my cockpit floor which I'm sure will be done any day now. Yea right...

With my new boat, I could no longer winter at PBM, so I am keeping it at Patsy's Bay. They couldn't be nicer or more accomdating. If I wasn't staying at PBM, Patsy's would be my choice.

I have been at Patsy's for the last few years(summer and winter) and am extremely pleased with the Marina. Management (Mike and Jimmy) are great, they want a family style marina and work very hard to accomplish that with multiple parties each year. They have above average facilities with a pool, ship's store, clean restrooms and washer/dryers available. The best part is that they are honest and upfront with all their clients, no hidden fees etc.

As far as water is concerned, my boat is a 47 footer and I just have to watch the tides, like every one else on the west shore of Haverstraw Bay.

Not "everyone" else on the west shore of Haverstraw Bay has to watch the tides when they want to come or go.

I bought a boat from Patsy's back in 2001.
Yesterday they sent me a invite to their Facebook page. Did anybody else get one ??.

Just switched from PBM to Patsy's. A tough decision, but PBM is just not condusive for families with kids. Great people, great service, but very little to do there with young ones. Looking forward to our new home.

C Dock, right across from you, I think. No complaints about PBM, those guys are great from a service and sales perspective. My general feeling was that it just doesnt cater to young kids. I plan on still servicing with them, but needed a marina with a pool. Patsy's seemed like the next best option.

Actually Mike you scared him away with the new boat...OK only kidding...

Sorry to see you go neighbor! Good luck at the new place, and maybe I'll see you on the river.

Actually, if it wasn't for Randy, I probably would have taken out both of you being a rookie boater. Thanks, Randy, hope to see you out there.

See, I new Hogan can scare people away. You and your loud parties.
