did anyone stay at this marina last year. It is new and construction of the condos will continue through this summer. I am considering moving there for the floating docks and swimming pool but very concerned about the dust and dirt as construction goes on. How dirty did your boat and covers get? It is snowing today, can't wait for the good weather.

I kayaked thru "Heron Harbor" regularly last season and there was only 6 or 7 boats tied up all year. I figured the high cost and lack of facilities turned off a lot of potential users. As far as dirt, the gulls made a huge mess of the docks because there weren't many people around to scare them off. I've been watching the condos go up and at the current build pace think most of the heavy work could be done as early as June or July.
If you're considering a slip there I'd suggest you don't get one near the south end- there was LOTS of heavy weed growth in there. The rest of the marina stayed pretty clear with only some occasional floating debris around.
