Didn't realize Les has a built-in scrambler on the Forum to stop anyone from entering website addresses or e-mail addresses. I was looking over the earlier postings and discovered my personal e-mail address had been jazzed a bit by the Forum's software. To contact me, use the following: gvicw(at)comcast(dot)net

Everyone - my departure from Raritan wasn't on the friendliest of terms, so they aren't likely to tell you much of anything about me if you call in to them. I'll not say anything else publicly about what went down.

They still (in my opinion) make the best marine products, for the price, available on the market.

Email sent...

Change is always an opportunity for, among other things, chaos to raise it's uugly little head! :)

Vic, and the place is not the same without you........you need to get busy on that venture you we were talking about....

Vic,
Like others here I have enjoyed your posts and knowledge, wish you the best moving forward.

Vic, I figured something was up, I just sent you an e-mail with all my contact information. I'm currently not at home or in the office. We are spending our last week of the season on the boat.
If I can help in anyway please don't hesitate to call.
In my opinion Raritan will regret whatever happened. Why do I have a feeling this could be age discrimination? I can tell you as a business owner in NJ it's a horrible State and the economy really blows. I'm pretty sure Raritan sales are down like most companies in this faux economy.

Hey Vic it was good talking to you the other night.
I have a question can I use a SeaLand 12VDC waste pump on my H-N-T PuraSan system in place of the Jabsco type "yearly melting" impeller style?
Bill

Sure, just be sure to use the supplied relay for powering the pump. Don't wire it direct, or you'll blow the HNT board from the amp requirement for the pump.

Happy New Year!!!

Thanks Vic, to be honest I use the supplied relay to drive a higher current relay that has a #6 path to a local remote DC breaker panel fed with #1/0. I have the proper sized in-line ATC fuse at the Jabsco currently. I found the original #8 feed to the head to small for the various fixtures in the head area. The old head breaker on the main panel only feeds a control signal for a high current constant duty BlueSea solenoid that feeds off the 1/0 buss from my front thruster bank. There is no chance of an over current condition happening at the H-N-T, PuraSan or Elegance they have the proper local breakers and in-line fuses and the original transfer pump relay from the control board of the H-N-T.

Don't know what happened but best of luck in the future Vic. Raritans loss.

Just curious. Did any non potty related knowledge you gained here get parsed out to others who were unaware of BE; say at boat shows when you were running the booths?

Godspeed.

KiDa, yes, both potty and non-potty related info. Plus, I've made lots of people aware of BoaterEd while at boat shows, etc.
