I'm considering installing a plumbed-in a water heater bypass to my boat's fresh water system to make future winterizing easier. The cold-in and hot-out pipes are PEX without any quick connects, so I'm not working with flexible hose material. Here's a link to a drawing of the system I'm considering installing:
