Police boat by Bear Mountain Bridge

Driving south on 9-w about 4:00 pm sat there was a police boat with his blue light flashing going back and forth across the river just south of the bridge. I went down to the Bear Mountain pier and watched for a while. I didn't see any police activity on the bridge. Nothing in the paper to-day. Anyone know why he was there?

He was looking for Tiger Woods body after his wife smashed a hole in the bottom of his boat with a golf club.
