Polisher - HF $30 vs $55

I want to buy a polisher, and my first choice is the HF version because of the low cost and good reviews I've seen here.

Is there a big difference between the $30 version and the $55 dollar version? They look like the same unit with different handles.

Can you guys point me to a good source for pads?

I went with the $55, I believe the difference is that the $29 is a trigger variable speed start, and the $55 has a digital rpm read-out with an on/off button. I like being able to dial in the rpms, just don't like that it does not shut off if you slip, trip, or drop it. Comes with the packing plate, just need to get pads.
