My wife and I took the day off for a little stress relief and boat cruise. We got to the boat in Jack London only to find the port window shattered, peices of glass everywhere. There was no note. It was hard to tell if it was intentional or an accident. Either way it needs to be repaired.

Can anyone refer me to someone who can do the work?

If it's just flat tempered glass, just about any glass shop should be able to custom cut a new piece for you and have it tempered. Cut a template out of cardboard from the other side. You don't mention if it's in a track or a fixed window. If a fixed window, you probably have to remove the frame and take it with you.

Welcome to Oakland! [:-banghead]

The above suggestion is not only helpful, but correct! A+++++++

Good luck!

yes a glass shop. Keep a sample to match size and color. They usually break from stress or old chips it was probably not vandalism especially if it was facing the sun.

I replaced mine with Lexan! almost unbreakable, wont yellow. it is the stuff used in airline windows.
