Possible Move to D.C.

Last winter's snow was definetly not normal for the area!!! Most folks will tell you that they've never sen sno like that. Keep in mind, though, that all that snow happened of a span of only about 4 weeks, not all winter.

While I did grow up in WI, Of the last 30 years I spent 10 in Az/NM, 3 in Maine and 17 in CA. I have grown quite accustomed to not having snow. I even gave up sking about 10 years ago. The weather is really the only part of this move that I am apprehensive about.

The hardest part of the weather for you might be the humidity. It's "air that you wear". It's not nice and dry like CA.

You may be right Glenn but I am easing into that. I go out there every other week. So I have a week of humidity and a dryness. My wife is just going to have to do it cold turkey.

Homeport: CA

I am in Calif quite a bit, and try to get out to Catalina every time. I love it there.

Wifey and I got an incredible deal on a rental unit in Nap town with moorage available. Fantastic place.

I kin set you up. Send me a PM.

On winter: my gofast is inside for the winter, next year it goes back to Florida and inside there for the winters.

Thanks Chris. I am in northern CA though. We have not been to Catalina island but it is probably something we should consider before we leave.
