I've been lurking but not much to say lately. But I am starting to think "spring" lately :)

Me too. I sent my aft cabin cushions out to be re-done last week and pulled my canvas out of storage to get it ready for a good cleaning.
Only about five or six more weeks to get things together and ready to go.
 
I painted my outdrives. Gonna shine the props and start prep work.
Got all my stuff.
Need to make a launch appointment and book my trip!
 
Thanks Rob! As for the elevator thing, I was just wondering how much more "safety" would cost. Sounds like it's a significant difference and that's why they're doing it the way they're doing.
 
Barb.......Safety is priceless. I would pitch a bitch to the owners.....remind them THEY are responsible for building safety.
 
So, how about that steroid hearing in Washington???
 
I'm more interested in the Bellacheat story coming out.

Ull get a kick out of this .... Were installing some new equipment in a GI suite in a hopsital. The a/c control circuit requires 18 gauge min shielded wire. For a week the electrican has not been able to locate this . ( dont ask ) so I ask my neighbor ( big electrical contractor ) for some. He pulls it and leaves it at his shop for me . I offer it to the electrcian ... panties get all wadded up and they end up using FIRE ALARM wire tru out the entire 2nd floor . ( fire wire is RED covered ) and is used only for fire alarms ....

I give up ... rather then take the wire , Ill use the wrong wire.....

hospitals must use hospital grade wire. Something about oxygen and electric sparks that don't get along ???

Thats funny............becareful of electricians who wear panties.
