I have a 1988 27' Tiara-slickcraft with twin mercruiser IO,s. It has power assisted mechanical steering. The assist comes off the starboard engine.I want to install a raymarine autopilot and be able to alternate engines when trolling.I am thinking I will install a second set of lines from my port engines pump and use manual valves when I switch engines. Will this work or is there a better way?
