Has anyone used them? I'm going to get my props tuned before dropping back in. The place that is storing my boat uses them but I see there not a propscan shop they use Prop View which sounds like it does the same function.

I've used them and they are OK. I only use propscan places now. I'll let you draw your own conclusion!

FWIW - nice guy but the shop is in a VERY unsafe neighborhood so if you're bringing them there your self be for warned.

The computer scanning places are great and I would not go to a non computerized shop unless I had to.

I've used them for several years. Had props tuned, repitched, repaired. Very good service and advice. They are computerized. I never went to the shop. They pick up at my marina and they travel all over.

I have used them and I have no complaints about their work. During the day the neighboorhood is safe enough, but I wouldn't go there afterdark.

I used him when we purchased our Trojan. He said he was a Prop Scan dealer, I then found out he was not but then was told he used Prop View. He said it was the same. I let him repair the props that year. One engine never reach the correct rpms. Turns out my props were not pitched correctly and one blade was off by 3/4 -7/8 of an inch. The cupping was not correct as well.

Fast forward a year later and I decided to bring them to Pitch Perfect Propeller in Stamford CT. Chuck Gray is the owner. He used to be on the Hudson River. Very nice person to talk to. He put my props on while I was there and showed me exactly what was wrong. He corrected all issues and told me exactly what rpms I will run at and at what speed. He was dead on. There was no vibration and I was cruising at a lower rpm and faster speed. I will only use Chuck and Prop Scan.

I just brought my props up a week ago and he called to let me know they are complete. Nice fast turn around. Granted the season is just starting to ramp up.

Give him a call at 203-653-1443 and tell him I referred you to him. He is located in the Brewers Marina.

Prop View and Prop Scan may appear to be the same, like I thought, however they are not. Prop scan is much more precise.

Looks like Pitch Perfect is out of commision until 4/15 due to a medical condition.
Has anyone used AmericanPropeller Works in Brooklyn? They are the next closest Propscan shop.
