Propeller Reconditioning

You do not give your prop specs but pitch changes such as that (3") are neither recommended or cheap for a few reasons.

Dropped the props offf at Bossler and Sweezey. Going to give them a call early next week.
Oddly enough, the props had their markings on them from 2012. I’ve got a stack of yard bills from the previous owner. One of them is for removal, reconditioning, and re-installing the props in 2012.
I bought the boat from northeast Ct., and all the bills were from a local marina up there.
The yardbill shows the props were sent to a local shop in northeast Ct.. The 2012 date on the yardbill from Ct. coincides with the record at Bossler and Sweezey.
Looks like that shop sent them to Bossler and Sweezey. The lady who took in the props at Bossler and Sweezey said it happens all the time.

Bossler hooked me up a few years back with awesome props. Gave them my rpm , fuel burn and load. They came up with props that gave me additional 4 mph across the entire band …. Cant say enough great things .

Got my new prop, beautiful Solas 17.25 LH 25P for $422 plus found a coupon online that got me $21.15 off. Deep Blue Yacht Supply.....

I had my props repaired back in September by Bossler and Sweezey and was very happy with the results. My boat is by no means a performance boat but it has a more giddy up than before. The price was fair and they got them back to me in only a few days. I'm no expert, but I would recommend them.

So I picked up my new Wheels from S&S today and getting antsy that i have to wait a couple of months for the boat to be hauled to have them put on. Curious to see if any improvement over the stock wheels. But sure are purty

Indeed they are. I thought that you liked five blade props.

Bruce,
I like whatever S&S tells me to use as I most likely be bringing these back a couple of time for tweaking and they won’t think twice about it?
Although these are slimmer, maybe more hydrodynamic than my OEM wheels they’re beefier than the set I put on my last boat. That set was too thinly made, got me incredible results but misshapen when barely touching a sandy bottom.
