Anybody a member? I'm heading there for an overnight soon and have never visited - heck I didn't even know they were way up there at the end of the creek. Who knew? How old are they? Fun place? Good docks? And most important (once I'm tied down securely) good bar???

Thanks for the lead. I did check it out but it's much better to get first hand info. I know some very boring yacht clubs(!) and their web site makes them look like party headquarters. What really sells me is when someone from one yacht club sings the praise of another - that's good press!

I have visited an awful lot of the clubs in the bay and up the delta, found some great spots and some places that could cheer up with a funeral. Happy to say the former outnumber the latter considerably. But it's a drag to pull up for an overnight and find out I'm at one of the latter, and it's a real joy to find it's a winner!

I don't know what you draw, but my advice is go in a little before high tide, watch the markers, and give them a call for routing. All of which I once learned so I could use for my second time there!

Took my USCG Aux boating class there in '95. Wasn't much happening during class night. Couldn't tell you much more about it. Used to launch around there about 35 years ago when there was a public launch. Nice little bar.

Thought you were talking about the Pt San Pablo Harbor at first. That's a little different kind of place. Massive mud flats in front.

When our yacht club makes its annual Down Bay Cruise, we are going to spend a Friday night at this club. However, that won't be until late September.......

Charlie, me too. Well it's been awhile and a few brain cells... Went to the old location when I was kid with my dad and uncle, so guess I figured place was still there later in life. We had some friends who lived in Richmond and PSB harbor was a good place to pick them up at the time.

So.... Nevermind!!

And the answer is...It's a great club!
Nice facility indeed with separate bathroom/shower and even laundry facilities. Clubhouse is well divided between the bar/lounge and dining room. Great deck on the water. Hospitality was all and more one could ask for, beginning with an able helping hand at the docks and ending with good salutes on the way out via VHF. I give the place an endorsement!
