Hey Chris, make sure you talk to Charles before heading over to the marina - he's been swamped with a lot of crazy things going on today and I don't want you to make the trek for nothing.

We spoke, he was actually able to make it a bit earlier than expected. In fact, I was home sleeping when he called...been trying to shake off a cold.

The ride went smooth, the boat fit on the tri-axle trailer as if it grew there and the boat is officially on its way to UTAH! It sounds crazy but upon hearing the story from Charles, it all makes sense. When you have a professional in the business, it's worth the effort. It reminds me of someone who paid for a private plane to fly a surveyor to Rode Island.

Pete, thanks again for all of your help. If there's ever anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask. I distributed the literature around the clubhouse. I believe that's the second used 28' boat you sold at the Westchester boat show.

Thanks also to HOGAN for your support and the use of a great boat for a few short years.

Now, where did I put that shrink-wrap cutting knife...I get to prep a boat all over again.

Congrats Chris, must feel good to be a single boat owner again!

I hope she enjoys Utah as much as she enjoyed the Northeast!

Yeah, find me a buyer for that 33 Sea Ray...... Just kidding! Don't delete me, Mike [:-scared] !!!

Seriously, I'm glad it all worked out. IMHO this is what BoaterEd is all about. Mike owns a boat, then passes it on to Chris, and now it goes again to Charles' friend in Utah. All because we know each other on here. I wish we could solve world hunger, the Middle Eastern crisis and global warming as easily as we can shuffle boats around on this forum!!!

As for cutting shrink wrap, at least I'm ahead of you there, but not by much. Jonathan and I went up to uncover the boats since it was supposed to be 65 the other day. Of course it was 45 instead. But we got them uncovered. Yesterday, a beautiful day, and I get to work inside all day. Oh well, at least it didn't go to waste - YOU got to have a boat ride :) !!!

Charles mentioned that Searay....said he'd make it an attractive offer. Unfortunately, it's probably too big for our club and it's probably too classy for the CYC. I'll keep it in mind though if I hear of anyone looking for a boat.

"... it's probably too classy for the CYC."

LOL, your place sounds like The Anchorage. I guess we have a lot in common :)...
