What is the difference in interior size from a 1994 35 aft cabin and a 356 aft cabin? Thanks Vince

Vince...size is the same, but layout will be a bit different in the galley and fwd stateroom area.

RamSport, thanks for the reply. I also notice that the 35 is about 3000 lbs. lighter that the 356 and the overall legnth is about 3' shorter. The foreward bunk looks to be smaller. Also less fuel capacity. But they may be more fuel effecient due to the lighter weight.

vrice. The 356 length and weight issue are attributed to the inclusion of the moulded in swim platform. Also...becasue the hull was actually lengthened as well, they had room to put a 118 gallon auxiliary fuel tank in the platform. The 355/356 are also a better riding boat due to the aforementioned extra hull length, they carry the same footprint of the 390/400/404 cockpit motor yacht

We may look at a 1994 35 aft. that has been stiitin on the hard in FL for 3 years. What concerns would you have and how do you think the price should be affected? We hear that it was running when put on the hard and the owner has lost interest.

Other than the obvious cosmetic issues of sitting outside for 3 years, I'd have the impellers replaced and check all the hosing to make sure there are no age cracking on them. Also check the wiring connectors as thre will probably be corrosion on them which may bring gremlins later in your ownership of the boat. As far as pricing, look on Yachtworld.com and others and make an offer based on what you think the boat is worth. I cannot really say because I am in a fresh water environment.
