Im in the market for a new prop. I currently have a 21 degree prop, 3 blade stainless on my 18' 4.3L bowrider.
Max RPM for the boat is supposed to be 4400-4800.
I have hit 4800 the last time out, and still feel like it had a little left in it. From what I think I know, raising the props pitch one degree usually brings your top RPMs down 200 RPMs.
What Im really looking for is a better holeshot to get my skiiers up.
Im thinking a 23 pitch 4 blade stainless..

Going from a 3 to a 4 blade generally gives you a better holeshot right?
