Well I need some thoughts if you know.
I have a Carver Santego 2767 1987 model with a flybridge and need to replace the canvas.
My thought is ad on a radar arch and make new top wondering about a used one. Any suggestions,
Last year some one had posted about a salvage yard for Katrina boats maybe they might have a used one. I have tried a few sites boat bandit ect. I want a proper arch not just the tube type but fiberglass or what ever
 
There's always several on EBay. Was there a radar arch actually made for the 2767?

no an arch was never really build for the 2767 but a vast amount of them have an after market arch and in 1989 they included one on the Santego so basicially hoping to find a hurican salvage Santego or somthing very close I am in Florida again in 3 weeks and can probably pick on up anytime travel and shipping no worry at al
 
Atlantic Towers in NJ will build for most boats. They delivered and installed. About 100 miles away and a little less than $2k.

I think i have found an arch in Fiberglass but boy yours looks terrific bkap in this picture might have to change my mind

We had a custom aluminum arch made last year for our 325. All welded - one piece, and installed by the builder for $2,500.

One issue with fiberglass arches is that they can be quite heavy, and with a flybridge style boat, you don't want a lot of weight high up.

However, many OEM arches that "look" fiberglass are actually aluminum.

My aluminum arch is about 50lbs.

Although based in SW Michigan, I understand the builder of my arch has installed arches all over the place.

Another resource is www.wolfsmarine.com also located in SW Michigan. They are kind of the Big-Lots of boating stores, and typically have dozens of "aluminum-that-looks-like-fiberglass" arches in stock. It might not be OEM, but get the height and width you need and they probably have something close.
 
I AM LOOKING FOR A RADAR ARCH FOR A 32 1987 CARVER MARINER?I DO NOT KNOW IF THAT YEAR HAD ONE.I DO KNOW THE 1989 HAS ONE ON A BOAT I WAS LOOKING AT.IT IS THE SOME BOAT I THINK.IF ANY ONE KNOWS FOR SHURE LET ME KNOWN OR IF SOME ONE HAS ONE FOR SALE.

I know this si old but im looking for an arch for my 88 33' mariner, any sugestions?
 
Having a 3297 for over 10 yrs. and pouring over anything related to it, I do believe that Caver never made a radar arch for the 3297. I've seen many with custom tube and even some fiberglass ones though. The 36' Mariner '86-'89 did have a radar arch as an option.
 
Get one made in SS tubing. It's surprising light cuz of the thin wall thickness.

Just make sure you get all the mounting tabs welded before running your wiring...stuff like bow and cockpit lights and antenna and GPS and horn mounts or whatever you can come up with.
