I am planning on upgrading my current chartplotter with either a Raymarine or Garmin.
I want the charplotter, sounder, and some type of radar/weather.
I use the boat (cruiser) 90% of the time for local cruise and going to the keys.
I do plan on taking it to Bimini for the first time in June - then one other time this summer. I estimate that I will average 2 trips there a year.
Now - The options are to get a Raymarine E series or Garmin 3010 with the Sirius weather, or the Raymarine C series with radar.
THoughts on one vs. the other????
