No mention of money. I can't fathom the price. I bet the D/E plant alone is close to $1/2 mil.

For boats with no generator, that "free" hot water from running the engine is pretty nice when you're away from shore power. Mine stays hot (or very warm) for many hours after the engine has been shut down.
 
Vic - I picked up the cold water heater today and pressure tested it and it seemes to be as good as new. I will install tomarrow and let you know for sure.

Vic-I installed the heater today and it seems to be fine. No leaks and it holds pressure. I used the opportunity to ad a bypass for winterization and cleaned up some of the grey tube and fitting "fixes" made over the years so it took a little extra time.

Glad to hear it worked out for you. Keep an eye on it for a few weeks, and after that, you should be fine!
 
Wow my original (1993) was a Raritan 6 gallon it still worked in 2006-7 when I removed it and got the larger Atwood, sorry Vic I love you products but I liked the polished stainless on the Atwood! Bill
 
So you're the type of guy who goes for the glitter and bling, huh? My oldest son was like that, too - for a while. His first wife was an "exotic" dancer. The marraige lasted a whole six weeks...
