The thread on U Line had over 100 posts. I posted to it too. So I'll start a fresh one on Raritan.

Just went out to the boat to get ready for a weekend trip tomorrow and it will not come on. Usually starts humming when I turn it on at the machine. All the breakers are on.

I think that I remember starting to come home after the last trip and noticed the ice had started to melt in the bin.

It occurred to me that it might be on a GFI circuit but resetting all the ones I can find on the boat have no effect on it.

I'll have to pull it to find out, but how likely is it that it is plugged into a GFI receptacle inside the cabinet?

It is only 18 months old but sounds to me like it has died.

My plug is not a GFI, but checking for power where it is plugged in has to be your #1 place to start.

A Raritan tech walked me thru some tests. It is getting power to the ice unit. Wheel turns, etc,.

Not getting power to compressor. He suspects a bad neutral connection. Have to pull the unit out to get to all of them.

I will not be able to do this until week after next.

Thanks. I read it but it did not hit exactly the same issue. At least the threads above on ULine.
