I'm heading down to BVI and looking for any must see spots. We will be picking up a boat in Tortola and heading out from there with no particular itinerary. My wife has already said we have to hit the Baths but other than that I am wide open for ideas. We enjoy quiet places and beached and not the crowded night club scene. Any less traveled off the beaten path locations you know of would be great.

Jost van Dyke! Go to Gertrude's and Foxy's

I hate to say this but most of the places we used to enjoy were hammered by Irma and no longer exist. Marina Key, Saba Rock, The Bitter End Yacht Club, are all seriously damaged and some have been bulldozed in prep for new construction. There was a place in Garner Bay (Jost) named Sidney's Peace and Love that had mooring balls and dinner with an honor system bar. Walk up early and tell them what you want. You can take the taxi ride of your life over to Foxy's from there as well. The Willy T was blown up on shore and rumor has it will be a new boat off Peter Island but their website doesn't reflect any progress yet. I am not sure if the restaurant above the baths on top of the hill is open. That was fab and the view was better.
I think Leverick Bay may be open as well as what Hogan mentioned. Talk with the charter operator and confirm an itinerary.

Thanks for the feed back. The charter operator has offered a itinerary but I was looking for so insight from others that have been there.

Why is this in LICC? This is Long Island New York NOT Long Island Bahamas.
If you want to go to LI NY, check out Fire Island! LOL!

Boy the moderators here are lazy, oh, they have real jobs, they have to work for a living!

Sorry for posting in the wrong area.
LOL,technically is is the Lesser Antilles but I did I read through all the Bahama threads.
I was just looking for advise from other like minds from LI.

Not sure many of us have done the Bahama run thing.
I am in Florida now and would like to do some Bahama runs, but I have no boat here yet! :(

Just to update...
We just came back from our BVI trip. It was great!
While there were a lot of places that are still not up and running due to hurricane Irma it was still a good trip and well worth it.
We chose not to stay at any marinas so we were either on the hook or tied up to a mooring each night. We hit two islands a day and spent most of our time enjoying the crystal clear water scuba diving and swimming at off the beaten path locations.
We all had such a great time we plan on going back next year.
